I'm looking for a simple laptop... Not top of the line or anything but something with some openGL support, and around 128 megs of ram... Was wondering what the most dependable model would be for $1400 or less.

Dell Inspiron 4000...you can customize everything to your desire (make sure you get a PIII and not a Celeron). I would have suggested the IBM Thinkpad A series, but it seems like the ones less than 1400 are only Celerons.
