Where can I set the DVD to use DMA in Win 2000?

Open Device manager, and expand the "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" option. Select the channel the device is on then right click and goto Properties. Choose the tab "Advanced Settings" and change the "Transfer Mode" to "DMA if available".
