I've just bought and seyup a Soltek SL-75DRV2 and Athlon XP 1700+ with 256MB Crucial DDR and ASUS V7700 GF2 Ti.
I'm trying to install Windows 2000, but I get a stop error which says that my BIOS is not ACPI compatible.
I understand that I can work around this by disabling ACPI, pressing F7 when the F6 option for RAID drivers etc appears. However I want to use the board in ACPI mode. I have updated to the latest BIOS (K4) and still no joy.
Anyone else having similar problems, or better still anyone know how to fix it.
TIA bazzla

strange problem i never had this before, however, go to the bios and you will find ACPI enable and disable and i think it is under power consumption field or something like that, enable it and it should work
