I was wondering how i would find my telecome mobiles e-mail address to
recieve messages from msn. If u select Other when u go to the mobile setup
menu then check the checkbox "my mobile device has text messaging enable" or
what ever then it asks for ur cellphones address.

I have set up webtext through xtra and i can send messages to my mobile
device off the internet so obviously there is an e-mail address that it sends
to right?

Ive tried e-mailing from my phone to my own e-mail address, and its return
address is something like "mynumber@sms.net.nz" and i thort that wud be it
but it doesnt work. A

Any help would be much appriciated thanks

Greetings Ice,

You might want to contact your provider to ask them why it doesn't work, as MSN Mobile in
that configuration will simply e-mail that account to send you messages so if you can't reach
it by normal e-mail, then it won't work in MSN Mobile either.
