can someone educate me a little here?
I am putting together a system with the abit kt7a-raid mobo which has Raid.
This particular board has 4 ide ports that each support 100mhz bus speed.
What are those pci card controllers for? Look below.

Do i need one of these to use the raid features of my mobo?
I havent ordered it yet, its all bookmarked and ready to go with a few clicks though.
I wont bother to list the setup as i dont want to start a pissing contest, but any info on this udma stuff would be great.
