Ok I need a realativly stable motherboard for an AMD socket A cpu, which ones can you people recomend ?

So is that a little better ?

Overclocking is not important, stability above all else.

The ECS K7S5A is probably the best bang for the buck. I have read about 4 reviews of this MB and all were positive. The one thing that stood out was stabilty, it does not crash. And its cheap.

the A7A266-E, on the coslier side but extremely reliable and compatible. else K7S5A might just be it!

Via have had big problems in the past...
hopefully less so now.

many of the KT266A based boards are very good.
or the sis735.
also, keep an eye out for the new nforce motherboard - onboard graphics, the 415-D.
