Disable password prompt

Doew anyone know how to disable the network password prompt at the start of Windows Millennium? Its a real pain in the butt. Does the fact that I have cable have anything to do with it? I always press cancel and I go straight into windows after that.

Right click on "My Network Places" on your Desktop and in the drop-down menu, choose "Windows Logon". This should fix the problem.

There is also another way to "automatically" log in. You can download TweakUI and configure the settings in that program.

There is no such setting in Windows Millennium. Thats what I am running. When I right click I don't get that option and I can't see any setting in TweekMe either. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but as far as I can tell, I can't disable it.

Sorry, you were right after all. I went straight into network properties and chose "windows logon" Its gone now, thank-you.
