Ok, i am really stuck here, i haven't got a clue what mother board to get, i was lookin at the a7133-c but the this guy i was talking to said it would be obselete soon, so i thought i might get the a7a 266, is this a good choice, i currently have 384 meg of SD RAM, and i do not intend on going over to DDR to due a very limited budget, could anyone tell me if this is a good motherboard, i plan on gettin the athlon XP1700+...any help greatly appreciated! :)

I don't think you can go wrong with any asus boards, but I use the shuttle ak31a ($78 newegg, $79.95 at Fry's electronics). It has run well for 4 months, with 3 bios upgrades while running windows. Easiest bios flashes you can do. It's about half the price of the asus board, and with the money you save, you could afford the ddram, and sell your sdram in your local paper.
