Hello,

I just want to ask everyone. When i looked at the manual of P/I -
P55T2P4 mainboard, there is a support for USB. But when i looked at
the internet ( search engine )
http://www.jump.net/~lcs/kalle/rev3.htm#USB

It said that i have to get some thing like USB adapter to connect my
USB peripheral to the mainboard ...

I just want to ask :
1. Does the ASUS P/I - P55T2P4 mainboard support USB ?
2. If it supports, where can i buy the USB adapter ?
or i have to do some kind of tricks to successfully connect my USB
peripheral to this mainboard ?
3. Could you explain to me in detail ( or provide a link ) how to
connect the USB peripheral to the mainboard ?

Thank's everyone for the answer for my problem . Your answer is
greatly appreciated. The reason why i am so curious about USB adapter
at this mainboard is because i want to buy IOMEGA Zip Drive USB ...?

bye

Dude, I don't think that would help the guy! It says:

"Permits you to take advantage of built-in USB motherboard capabilities for extra ports to plug in devices". I don't think this device ADDS USB support...

He probably needs a PCI USB adapter that ADDS USB support.

Like <A HREF="http://www.usbgear.com/usa/usb-super-sale.html" target="_new"> this one. </A>

Thank's for Scamtron reply to my problem. I think the USB Pro Series Motherboard Cable is the one that i need. Maybe i try to plug that first and then see what's the result ..

Thank's again for everyone who already helps me to solve the problem.

Your motherboard comes with USB support? I read your manual on Asus web site and I didn't see anything about USB support. If that's the case then I don't believe that cable will do any good. Not sure though.

Hey Crash! What do you think? Help me out here!<P ID="edit"><FONT SIZE=-1><EM>Edited by Flyboy on 02/10/02 06:02 AM.</EM></FONT></P>
