Flashing Asus CUSL2 BIOS

Can anyone tell me why it is that I get this message when updating my BIOS? Fail(ure) to verify EEPROM with new BIOS image. Please press button to try again or [EXIT] to abort. I have an ASUS CUSL2 ACPI BIOS rev. 1002.
I am using the AsusUpdate V 3.26 to do the flashing.

Any suggestions?

Mybe you have BIOS updates turned off-in BIOS? Check your BIOS settup.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
