I am planning to buy a new system, and i like the price of the AMD Athlon TB 1400 MHz. It would do the job, and I am fixed on getting that CPU.

But which Board to get? I tried to search for reviews, but even here on this site I didnt find any, I admit I was kinda overwhelmed by this site...

I hope someone can tell me a stable and fast Mainboard to use with the TB. Best would be no OnBoard Sound or Graphics.

Thanks!

YAU

The asus A7PRO and the A7V133 will take your Tbird CPU. The A7V133 comes with the newer KT133a chipset (the A7PRO comes with the older KT133), no built in sound or video, but it got a built in Promise IDE controller which let you install 4 more ide devices (all together 8 ide devices).

But there are other boards for the Tbird, I would read up on Tom's review here.
