Pretty nice setup for a laptop, just order it with an SSD, and you will be Envied.

Whats the data transfer rate for USB 3? Obviously faster than USB 2, but what are the numbers?

almost bought one of these when a special $300 coupon worked (this saturday for about 2 hours) lowering the price to just over a $1000.

i really like this laptop. I don't need one right now but in a few months i will probably be looking to buy this one. Powerful, thin, good-looking...
What's not to like?

I just saw one of the Envy 15's in a local hardware store, and boy was it hot just running a slide show! I haven't checked out reviews to see if that's normal, but the new 5830 should use less power idling, so it'll hopefully result in a cooler laptop.

I just asked their technical support and they said it was 2.0. I know they probably wouldn't know...yet...but it isn't reassuring none the less.
