How to get a "don't ask me again" box back?

I watch VOBs on my computer, and I always got a box that said "File is not supported, would you like to continue." and I always just clicked yes. Recently, I thought that if I clicked the "Do not ask me again" check box, I woudln't have to keep clicking yes, but for some reason it took it as if I said no and now I can't ever watch VOBs anymore.
So how do I get that little box back?

Which program are you using to watch them?

I am assuming that you are using Windows media player install this codec pack you should be able to view the videos..
