soft off - auto power down problems

hi all
can somone plz help sort out my super shitty problem

i cannot get my comp to shut the power off auto matic when i shut down the damn thing
could it be a bios setting i can tweak or should i just kill the board LOL
im sure it did do at one time but has just decided to stop
the little swine
i have a biostar kt133a athlon 1gig
640 ram
geforce 2 200 64meg
two 20 gig hd
cd - cdr

What do you mean <b>power off automatic</b>? Do you set a timer or press power button?
If you press the power button and it doesn't shut off, check your BIOS to see if the option <b>'Soft-Off by PBTN'</b> is set at <b>Instant-Off</b> or <b>Delay 4 sec</b> (you need to hold its button about 4 seconds).

Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
