I have a Giga-byte GA-7DXR mobo with and AMD760 chipset. My question is, is my southbridge VIA technology? How can I find out on my own? I want to know this because I would like to downlaod VIA's latest drivers for this device from the VIA website. I tried to discuss this isue with giga-byte support on there website but to no avail. Off topic, I have an issue with my USB hub which is related to some mobo drivers which is why I want to dwnload some updates. Thanx in advance for your reply

Check the web site <A HREF="http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/products/7dxr.htm" target="_new">here</A> - it's a 686B southbridge

BUT - I'm not sure you want to install 4in1 on an AMD 761. Anyone else here know the viability of that?

<i>It's always the one thing you never suspected.</i>

installing 4 in 1 should work fine.. no problems on my chaintech and this had same chips (amd 760 & via southbridge). install the amd agp miniport driver first though...

Have you tried downloading these from Gigabyte?
