mail notification

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.messenger (More info?)

Last few days when logging in to MS Messenger 6.2 I no longer am
notified of e-mail messages in my hot mail box. Even thought it show 0
email when I click on it or log into my hot mail account there is new
mail. Anyone else run into this.

Greetings David,

These is all server-end stuff so there's nothing you can personally do to fix this. However,
if it makes you feel any better, I have seen the same thing on my client also.
