XP333 and Power DVD *DELETED*

Sorry, a little more info would be good, huh. I've got a Liteon 16x DVD-ROM, the XP333 is V2.1, and I'm using the 1/18 bios and Win98. One more thing. I'm consistantly getting locked up when trying to download continuously (e.g. downloading 3DMark2001) whether I'm using IE or Netscape. No BSOD, I just can't get any response, I can't get task manager to open, all I can do is hit the reset button. I've got a 3Com NIC which worked just fine in my old system. Again, thanks for any ideas.
