Why is my main HDD not showing on Disk management?

My main HDD is working fine and is shown on Windows Explorer but it doesn't show on Disk Management and I am unable to restore my computer. I am using Windows 7 32bit, Can someone help?

I don't want to worry you, but that could be a symptom of a rootkit. Have a look at the last few posts in this thread.

Sweet, thanks, it was a rootkit and i found out that DR WEB antivirus was the only antivirus that could get rid of it. Problem solved
