epox 8kha+ running at 1100mhz

i have an epox 8kha+ w/an athlon xp 1700+. when it boots up it says it's running at 1100mhz. i checked epox's web site for bios updates but i didn't see anything that mentioned this problem. the computer runs fine. any ideas on what it going on. i'm running windows 98 w/256mb of 2100 samsung ram.

Hey A,

Check your mobo manual, find the jumper "JCK 1"(page 3-5) on the mobo(CPU Host Clock Select-near AGP slot), switch the jumper to 2-3(133mhz) from the factory default of 1-2(100 mhz). The clock speed should show up as 1463 or 1466 mhz.
