socket 370 mobo

A buddy of mine got a hold of an old 450 PIII. He is looking for a decent mobo for it. Which is the best chipset for the socket 370 PIII? I have looked around and there seem to be a bunch of chipsets for it.

Why Socket 370? All PIII 450's were Slot 1 based.

I would suggest the 440BX, the Soyo SY-6BA+III is only $40, the SY-6BA+IV adds a UDAM66 controller and cost $50, at www.justdeals.com. If you need Socket370, I recommend adding a Slotket.

I agree. BX chipset would be the best chipset for P3 450.
