Just who is this John MacDonald and I bet he isn’t even signed up to the forum let alone have hundreds (or thousands) of posts. He probably makes tons of money and doesn’t even need it!

Yeah, there don't seem to be many of us old boys around these days. I posted a bit more in delphi, but got flamed quite a bit by all of the trolls (that was when 3dfx was still a player, so you had the nvidia/3dfx/ati trolls in addition to the amd/intel ones).

Yeah, i remember back in the day you had 3 camps nvidia *GeForce2 GTS*, 3DFX *Voodoo5*, ATi*Radeon 64mb vivo*... i remember the benchmark wars... Then 3DFX folded.. but the Radeon 64mb VIVO and GeForce2 GTS was going own on till the GF2 Ultra came and ruin the show. Then the GeForce3 came and the Nvidiot's ruin the show. Then the Radeon 8500 came out but the ATi crowd left to Rage3d.com *the holy land*. The Next generation users where taking over the show. So, i left with no goodbye. Grizely1, spudmuffin, tbirdinside, Wusy where also gone. Then i enter the show again. Since nvidia released the GF4 MX "the Cacheless Celeron of the graphics market" its my goal to save as many users as possible

LoL, yeah no kidding! Man that seemed like yesterday. You would think I would be as good as you guys (technically speaking) since I've been here so long, but like I've said before I just don't seem to absorb this stuff too well unless I actually get to play with it. Well that, and there were long periods (like MONTHS) of not keeping up with the forum at all because of school. The graduate program nearly KILLED me. I need to take a leave of absence again in order to find a freaking job! Lately I've been studying (reviewing old material).

BTW, I *MUST* have an airplane within the next two years. I'd like to get an aerobatic biplane, but I'll probably never be able to afford it (at least one thats airworthy). And of course I do need the rocking chair- I'm pushing 30 you know...:(
