I was looking for a gun controller for the PC. I found one here, but I wasn't sure if there were any better ones out there. I basically wanted to use this for some arcade games on my computer, but that would be fun to try on old first person shooter games like Half Life and Unreal Tournament. I would have to find a way to use the gun and use a keypad, like this. Also if anyone already has tried this or has knowledge on this subject, do tell. Thank you

Never tried a gun controller like that, but it can't work they you'd like it to work because it's still a controller, like a mouse.

If I take a gun like that into my hand, no way I'll manage to keep the gun stable on the desk. I'd want to pick it up and point it at the screen.

I'll stick to a regular mouse controller.

After doing some more reviewing, I found that critical point, you have to have it like a mouse. I found that Act Labs had some of the first ones and have been looking into that. They say it doesn't work with LCD or Plasmas which makes no sense. They don't use the screen to measure where the Gun is pointing, at least that would be a very crude way of doin so.

Apparently they use exactly the TV to measure if the target measures where the crosshair should be by using a light receptor in the gun. I like this one because it solves all of my problems HERE.

Buying a joystick for BF1942 made me feel nerdy enough when people come over and look at that.. Luckily, I don't have a web cam.

But having one of these sit around or even in a drawer.. no way. It might be convenient, fun, cool, but when you add the Nerd Factor, you hit an all time low.

Only gun game should be Duck Hunt.

So there is a connection between nerds and gangsters.

So being a member of a computer forum doesn't have the same effect? Don't worry, I'm the ladies man that knows computers, it hasn't hurt me to bad.

Yeah right

Try updating your avatar to something appropriate and I just might start believing you

I hope that shined some light on your doubt.

You're in the computer forum also.

You want a gun controller for computer games.

You're the one with the handle of a cartoon 8 year olds love.

You have a picture of a guy with a shirt blowing in the wind, chest baring.. in a male dominated computer forum. (assuming it's you, it's still not good)

But gay men tend to be quite the ladies man anyhow.

Just a simple observation.. :D

I knew a guy in college who acted gay around girls and pulled loads of stunning women as a result cos they all thought he was the sensitive caring type. It was fairly appalling watching him at work :)

This is the largest form of hippocracy I have ever witnessed. If I show that I am an arcade person, I am a nerd. If I show that Pokemon is hip, I am 8 years old. If I use Brad Pitt as an Avatar in response to someones suggestion, I am gay. If I use Anime as an Avatar, I am Japenese. If I use a girl as an Avatar, I am either a nerdy girl and/or get hit on by internet geeks of all ages. If I use a basketball player as my Avatar, I am Black. How the hell am I suppose to be a White ladies-man???????????????????????????? :(

Just upload a different pussy everyday as avatar, preferably with you sucking it, and perhaps I'll reconsider.

Are you a guy or a girl?

It would bump you up from a pansy to a wimp.. unless you get a picture of him in Matrix.

Then you'd be a flaming wimp.

haha.. the wolf is cool. I tried to put a picture of my sportbike up, but it doesn't look good under the avatar restrictions.

Yeah as a picture in it's own right it's really cool.

I do have a soft spot for wolves.
