Sorry, if you read it in my other post, but i need some help....

I bought an ethernet card because my family bought an ISDN modem, and the internet techs said that we will able to connect to the internet via ADSL if we buy an ethernet card. So now the bios can see the card, the windows can see the card. BUT the led on the card not lights... and on the isdn modem the B1 led is red... and the whole connection not work.... Any idea? ( i check the UTP cable and it's good....) Thanks...

im assuming you mean dsl instead of isdn, you say the lights dont work and you have tested the cable? what did you test it with? have you put it on a computer with a working nic? are you sure the cable is plugged in all the way? when you push it in, the release tab should pop back up when its in all the way. the connection to the card may be lose, wiggle it some, hold it in different ways to see if you can get the lights to come on. it sounds like the card is bad though.

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal

A guy test it in a local store where i bought the card... he said it's good.. it's plugged all the way up... and i move around the cable... but nothing happens...

sounds like a bad cable, or the wrong cable (crossover/straight)
