mobo/cpu upgrade

well, my slot athlon is on its last leg, all attempts to figure out why the thing refuses to stay on have failed. sooooo.... its time to upgrade. im figuring on getting the soyo dragon+, 1700 xp athlon, crucial 2100 256. any comments? is the dragon just a bargain board? toms review rated it the best, is that because its the best bang for the buck or is it the best all around board?

Most people on this forum have liked their Dragons - I got the KR7A and have been very pleased. But I've never had a dragon so I can't compare honestly. If you don't plan to overclock then I doubt it would be worth the extra money to get the Abit. <shrug>
