Looks like K7S5A will support the new 0.13 core with just a BIOS update. May be I'm wrong but think that for a new core you will need a new chipset

Why? You don't need a new chipset for the Northwood, or the XP.

The Thoroughbred works the same way, it's just a smaller die to use less voltage and generate less heat.

Heck, you didn't need a new chipset for the change from Coppermine to Tualatin, but a new VRM, and Athlon boards are made for lower voltages, eliminating that problem. And you didn't need a new chipset for the change from the Katmai to Coppermine, or previous PII/Celeron cores (again some boards had a VRM problem, but Athlon boards are made for lower voltages in anticipation of core changes).

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
