1. Two modes of operation : console mode and hand held mode

a. Console mode :

-Has a docking station when used in console mode (similar to cameras)
-The docking station is used to recharge and connect wirelessly to TV's
and to multiple wireless or wired controllers
-The docking station also has a high capacity mini hard drive with
bluetooth-like connectivity to the unit when in handheld mode
-Other types of ports such as USB etc. are also located on the docking
station.
-Has all the functionality of a full blown console

b. Handheld mode :

-The hand held component can be detached from the docking station and used the same as a PSP / DS with wireless communication to several other units or even PC's simultaneously
-Has PDA/Phone/Camera funtionality
-If the unit comes within a few metres of a mobile phone with any kind of Crazy Frog crap on it, it sends out a high energy EMP which causes the offending phone to spontaneously explode.
-The unit has detachable memory, battery, and all in one CPU/GPU/PPU/AIPU module for upgrading purposes
-Could have a 3D screen, maybe ???
-Has the ability to connect via bluetooth to a single wireless controller when in handheld mode so you can use thumb sticks

These are generally good ideas but...here r my $.02

I doubt anything like the exploding cellphones part is possible....as far as i know emp disrupts and disables any kind of electric impulse...which in turn just kills off any part that uses electricity...without damagingit

As for the 3d screen ... thats a video and cpu processor hog....for example...i know the 3d OS that came out last year...a os where you could flip over any windows on your screen 360 degr...where u were able to take notes on the back of em...have other apps open on the other sides... even watch videos...able tomove around your desktop...have all your icons in a sphere enviroment all around you...it was made...but not released....why? because of that exact same reason...as for now...it will not pay off for them to put out a 3d os as maybe less then 10% - 15% of pc owners could possibly run it...without it crashing...or partial use of all features provided....

the for my idea....the only thing they need to manage to do is...if they could lower the size...and power consumption of the unit...im talking cpu,gpu. and whatever else u need of the size of pea...i think thats the next step...rather then adding more features....i mean...its like just painting over a car or adding new seats to it while the engine is a big ol rusted, heavy bucket.... after they could manage to get that done....they can worry about adding all these features...

figureing that they already were able to make a blind man see (weird vision though) im sure theyll be working on some kind of thing they implant in your head or more likey a pair of contacts that you wear and can see and feel the game as itd give your body impulses but thats just my idea.

i still think my idea is better...lol, no thats pretty cool that its comeing along well and that its harmless.but now everyone will be glued to the t.v. forever i bet you not. porn, food channel, shopping, what else do you need to live?

it is funny that you said that...implants that comunicate with the brain through impulses...because belive it or not...i thought about it as well....quite a while ago...

i sat down one day after playing fable...and being heart broken for reaching the end of that saga...was thinking how i could make it possible for a gamer to actually BE in the game...not just play it...im talking feelings, proper realistic life-like visuals, laws of physics and all that...

lol call me a nerd but i got a lot of details worked out....improvements, weight, size, transfer of information to and from the brain...etc...only to realize that it would take not as much tech-knowledge as much as it takes sciences...as biology and chemistry
