Prototype AMD MB

I was at one of my customer's today and they were making a new AMD motherboard. I didn't get a chance to take a good look at it, as they were still being made.

It had "Porch Swing 2" silk screened onto the board, and not too far from the location for the socket were two new connectors, nothing like I have seen on a MB before. I couldn't even guess their purpose.

Any AMD insiders out there that can give us any details?

First time I powered up my 'puter my wife asked "Where's that swarm of bees?"

Nope, but if you can describe the connectors, maybe we can tell you what it is.

I'm thinking probably Serial ATA.

your close, i imagine its Serial Scsi, theres a different forum (i'll look through history and try and find it) that predicted the use of serial scsi in the future, as well as many other wiled-assed ideas, i'm not entire sure of the validity of any of them but it was said there, and its possible it's what you've seen

I find it really hard to believe that a new form of SCSI would be on a prototype motherboard, without anything being said on this forum about it coming.
