Resetting CMOS for Asus A7V MB

Hi all, I have recently loaded Linux onto my PC (MB is A7V133). I needed the boot CD to load a new app last night and rebooted with said boot CD in the drive. The computer loaded into the Linux Install wizard.

I cancelled out of the install and reset the PC (simply pressed the reset button). Now it will not POST.

My question, how do I reset the CMOS/BIOS? I have the manual but it has not been helpful in this endeavor.

Thanks much

If all else fails, you can remove the battery for a minute or two (while the system is powered off). But usually there is a clear CMOS jumper. See page 59 of the manual, they call it "clear CMOS RTC"

It's always the one thing you never suspected.
