hey. i have a 15" tft monitor and upgraded (about 2 months ago) to an A64 3000(venice), 1gb of ram and a 6600gt. Now im just wondering if i should be upgrading my monitor, becuase i only seem to be getting 60 fps. (BF2 + PES5 + CS:S - All on 1024x768 medium > high) . is my monitor restricting more frames.

at 1024x your moniter can only do 60Hz so yes it is, although you will not notice a difference in uprgradeing unless your getting flashing from your moniter.

Most games are stuck at 60Hz unless you installed something like

coolbits2

or other utility. It adds a “refresh rate override” to get higher Hz in games and some other stuff to the video card settings.
