Should I buy the P4T-E with our without built in audio?

That depends. Do you have a soundcard already, or do you have one picked out? How important is sound for you?

I will probably not use the built on sound. I have a sound card picked out.

Then don't pay the extra for onboard sound.

I don't usually buy the onboard sound either, but here lately I've found the new onboard audio to be high enough quality to not need a PCI card unless the client desires a Live Drive, or something similar.

If I don't get my 90THz AMD Quadraplex system soon, I'm afraid I may just combust right here.

I'd go for that onboard audio on the P4T-E! Its not the crappy AC97 soft audio. Its a real CMedia 8738 hardware sound chip that has a decent performance and supports 5.1 configuration too!
