Gigabyte Vs. GF4 MX440 - What's the issue?

I have a Gigabyte GA-7VTXH+ and my dad has a GA-7VTXH.

I have tried an eVGA, Abit, & MSI Geforece 4 MX440 on both seperate machines, and 90% of the time, I get no POST.

Anyone know if there is an issue known abou these boards and GeForece 4's?

I'm having a similar issue with my GigaByte GA-8SDX board and my GeForce4 Ti4400. My system will POST, and almost boot...it freezes as it boots into the GUI
