I have a DSL connection which is great. What I miss from the old 56k modem was the toolbar Icon which illuminated when data was being transmitted. Is there something similar for my DSL modem?

Regards

As far as I remember, Windows 98 doesn't have it built in. However, there's a small program called DU Meter (amongst others) that will monitor your uploads and downloads and measure how much data you transfer. As well, this program has a little icon that you can have in your system tray that has small "up" and "down" arrows that flash to signify transfer.

I did a Google search for DU Meter and came up with a bunch of possible choices.

Thanks Rob
