Abit KG7/lite/raid bios and improvements

KG7 is relatively an old AMD768 mobo compare to others. I recently notice some bios upgrades to improved the CPU support from the original Athlon TB 1.33ghz to Athlon 2000XP+. Could such an upgrade via bios be possible for improving ATA100 to ATA133 or is that a whole other hardware issue?

That's a hardware issue, and ATA133 wouldn't give you any worthwhile performance increase anyway.
