NEC ND-6650 & Inspiron 8200

Does anyone know if the NEC ND-6650 fits (and works) with the Inspiron 8200?
It's been reported as fitting the Inspiron 700m, 1200, 2200, 5000e, 5100,
6000, 8600, 9200, 9300...but I don't know how the space in those notebooks
compares to the space in mine.

Judging my the pics of the product at newegg.com, it shouldn't be a problem.
I just installed a very similar slim dual layer DVD burner in my Inspiron
8200. All these slim drives seem to have a standard mounting frame and
connector on the back.
