Messenger 7 causes "Server not found" error

Since I upgraded to MSN Messenger v7 yesterday, Outlook Express no
longer works. After several seconds "Checking mail", I get a "The
server could not be found" error message.

MSN Messenger itself has no difficulty finding the server - the updated
Hotmail Inbox is displayed as part of the upgraded "improvement" Not a
bad idea, so long as it doesn't bugger up OE! - but I need my Outlook
Express to work so I can file my emails (by dragging and dropping)
outside OE.

Any help - either to correct this bug or to return to an earlier
version of MSN Messenger would be much appreciated.
