For anyone that Knew it.... well it caught on fire last night.

Most likely it happened from a lighting strike from the sever storms that move though the area. (there was a good lighting show last night )

i would of though a statue of that size would for been made out of something NOT flammable.

Anyways, There goes my jokes of jesus made a touchdown when i pass by it on the highway.

I read on MSNBC where the architect or artist has volunteered to help rebuild the statue. Hopefully the new one won't be made of papier-mache .

yeah i heard that as well. At least thats good news for the church down there.

Although i still cant believe that it was made out of something that was flammable when the thing cost $250,000.

Although maybe he was taking 1 for the team as cnn was guessing that he took the bolt to protect some shelter that was near it. (although i want to now where that shelter is....... All i know thats around jesus is traders world, turtle creek (2 very big flea markets), and the church that was further behind it.)
