Sound driver for hp pavilion dv1000

Hello, Please i just installed windows 7 on my laptop..After the installation the system did not detect the sound driver, it shows the sound icon but place a red cancel sign on it...How do i get the sound driver compatible for windows 7 ???? Please help me

Hi teaboy - Yep that HP website is a good place to go. Also, try running Windows Updates to find the correct drivers.

Thanks Casssandra, I was able to get the sound driver through a link, the Sound driver compatible for Window 7 was not on the site...The laptop is Ok now.
