Hey everyone who reads this. I'm sure a lot of you know of this site, but for all of you who don't, it's an essential part of online PC shopping. ANYTIME you go with a reseller that you're not familiar with, look them up on http://www.resellerratings.com and be sure of what you're getting into. Just type in the reseller you're interested in buying from and READ THE REVIEWS. They've saved me countless times. Hope this helps all of your future purchases.

I am looking for an XP 2600+ 266 fsb cpu. Looked on pricewatch and checked the sites out that had the lowest prices. Not a single one had a rating over 5. Most were in the 1-2 point catagory. Will definitely check them out first for now on.

On that, does anyone know of a good place to get a 2600 + 266 fsb cpu from thats not a scam?

I especially recommend this site if you find a deal that sounds "too good to be true" because of an awesome rebate. In the business we often see ourselves undercut by people who offer good rebates, then see complaints about them on resellerratings soon after. Just remember, once you buy a product, the company already has your money, so whether or not you actually get the rebate just depends on how reputable the company is. So beware.
