Just wanted to confirm that the LCD needs to be completely replaced if the
backlight no longer works. If this is the case, does anyone have a good
source for replacement LCDs? This puppy is well past it's waranty.
TIA.

A lot of times it is just the inverter that needs to be replaced. You may be
able to find one at www.parts-people.com I replaced the inverter in an I7000
not to long ago and it worked great.
