Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can help me out with this game. The game freezes at the main menu and a choppy audio plays back over and over.

I either have to reboot, or if I am able, I have to terminate the game via the task manager. I've looked at the EIDOS forum and didn't find much.

System Configuration:
AMD 3800 X2
Abit AN8 SLI
1.0GB DDR400
Sound Blaster Audigy (Original)
EVGA Nvidia 6800GS PCI-E 256MB
Seagate 80GB SATA 1.5GB
LG DVD Writer
Sony CD-RW Writer
Logitech Di Novo Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse
Sony HS94 LCD

I've played this game on my old P4 system with an Nvidia FX5600 and wanted to see how much better it would run with a 6800GS. Patch 1.2 has been installed and I've disabled the second core as some suggested using a utility program. The system is complete stock and is not overclocked.

Any help is appreciated.

when you installed your system drivers for the mobo you installed the gart driver thats part of the nforce driver suite right, cause that can cause performance issues. also make sure the patch is the latest. Also if you can get into the settings section turn off the bloom setting.
