S.T.A.L.K.E.R... where are u

i know sheesh its been like 4 years since i heard about it but i havent heard anything new about it they did create a playable demo at a lan party last year so i guesss theyre just working on level development, but ya the game looked amazing 3 years ago but with all the new games comeing out it dosent look to hot but i still cant wait for it.

Its my understanding that when they originally were going to release it. The hot games were HL2 and Doom3. They actually completed the game and upon final review the executives felt the story line sucked. So they went back to the drawing board to redo the storyline and I am sure they are taking this opportunity to upgrade the graphics using the latest HDR and shaders. I have basically stopped looking for it. At this point I will see it when I see it. I am looking forward to Crysis, made my crytek the makers of Far Cry should be out towards the end of the year.
