My abit bh6 mobo apears to have died, my computer no longer even turns on. When I turn it on I hear the power supply fan but I get no POST beeps or any lights at all on the front. I swapped out the power supply with a known good one and the symptoms remained constant. Is there a fuse I should check or anything, or is this motherboard just dead? I have a slot 1 P3 800 MHz cpu in it. I cant really aford to upgrade the mobo, cpu and ram right now (I have 100mhz RAM in it). So I am looking for the cheapest solution

Thanks in advance,

Sean

www.justdeals.com carries the Soyo SY-BA6+III BX board for only $40. You can replace your board if needed, for cheap.

Later, if you ever get PC133, you can overclock your 800E, perhaps to 1066MHz with good cooling, on that board. That board runs stable to 150MHz bus speeds, but your processor probably won't go that far.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
