Hi,

Have used Messenger for a few years, although never really tried using the
video conference options much.

Just got a webcam, a I-Cam 330 model, although the video conferencing works
fine, I noticed that the upstream for combined audio & video is pushing over
20K a second.

Although this dont really sound much, but the download stream coming from
someone elses cam, is only at an average of 6k a second.

From what I have thought, is that the resolution of my camera is set at a
high resolution therefore using more bandwidth.
Is there any way of decreasing the resolution therefore decreasing the
upstream bandwidth?

Any info on this would be appriciated.

Jay
