Hmm, I'll give you a honest answer. I work in a nightclub partime as a bouncer (what a jump from the tech industry!) so I hear this music quite often for hours on end. I am giving you this opinion from a viewpoint of someone who doesn't like this type of music in general. In fact it typically drives me nuts after a long night of work, I can still hear the beats bumping in my head when I lay down to sleep at 7am.
Here we go: It still sounds a little unpolished. Optik was the one that seemed to have the most refinement. My main gripe is that your beats tend to skip and dont have much of a flow, 20lbs ago I was a fairly good dancer and I can still nod my head to a decent beat, whether it's rap or electronic. What I'm getting at here it's sometimes difficult to stay in rythym with your songs. However, I think your on the right path and with some hard work you'll get there. Your not too far off, and whatever your doing to make this music, I can tell that alot of effort and thought has gone into it.
Keep up the good work and maybe someday I'll be on another 12hr torture shift listening to some of the DJ's spin a couple of your records. Driving me absolutely insane.
thanks alot for the input bro... I really don't make my songs for the dancefloor though which is why some of the beats are not repetitive like dancefloor tunes.

Ahh, but it's still music for the E-Tards, and E-tards will dance, but when your on E I suppose you can get into other things as well.
Forgive my hasty generalization of your music, if I'm wrong then I'm sorry. So what do people do with this music, lay around and tweek and stare at pictures. Play it at a party? Or just sit back and play it to get your lady in the mood?(I hope not ) Dont be shy about saying that people dig your music on dope either, there are plenty of bands out there that have made a lucrative career out of it.
God damn it!
I´m really curious of hearing your tunes, thing is I don´t have a soundcard at my computer where I work (My employer is very devious, indeed).
So, What kind of music is it?
What programs did you use...synthesizers, samplers etc?
Music style, ambient, techno, Detroit(love it), Goa (hope not), D&B, electro, triphop, house, 2 step, minimalistic techno?
heh?
Scrap the "music style" explanation.
Just "discovered" that it is Jungle, breakbeats and such.
Breakbeats?
Man, that´s old...
I remember back in 93-95 something when I used to visit parties. Always there were these insanely uptempo tunes with pitched up vocals...oh well.

breakbeats is a broad term.. it can be the old warehouse chipmunk vocal stuf from the early 90's or commercial stuff like crystal method might be considered breakbeat by some people. I try not to bother with the label stuff it began getting way too specific.

I agree, you have put a lot of effort into your music. I am not a musician so my judgement is not based on knowledge nor profession.
As I listened I could see myself easily distracted from repetitive boring stuff, like running on a treadmill, riding a stationary bike, or rowing on a machine. In other words I'm saying your music has a lot of energy. Not in respect to dancing, but maybe as background for a action scene in a box office blockbuster thriller movie, or after a stressful day at work, you flip on the sounds to take your mind off of the minial task of a good hard workout (ENERGY).
Hope you understand what I trying to visualize, but as I said I am unbiased by profession and experience. On a personal level I like your stuff! I commend you and admonish you to keep practicing. You definitely have talent.
