Is this right?

I ordered the ESC 7S5A (Sis735) mobo. Today I got the ESC 7S6A (Sis745) instead of the one I ordered, but the price I had to pay is the same. On the company´s site the board I got costs about 15$ more. Should I be happy or should I complain, is there any real difference between the two boards?

Thanks!

  1. only thing you're not getting with the 745 is SDRAM support. If you're going to use DDR just stick with the 745 and be happy.

It's always the one thing you never suspected.
  2. I´ll only be using DDR RAM. It seems the K7S6A also supports PC2700 and has 3 DIMM slots to support up to 1,5GB DDR RAM.

Only thing I'm worried about is the Sis745 chipset. I´ve heard good things about the 735, but nothing of the 745.
