Hi
I would like to purchase a new Video Card for my PC as the on board one doesnt support CoD2.
I am not a full time gamer but would like to continue the CoD trilogy,
Can anyone sujest a suitable card for about £60 if there is such a thing...
Your help is apreciated.

PS. It would have to be AGP orPCI

you can buy a 9800pro for than maybe a 6600(gt?) but i think prices are more spendy there anyway but a 9800pro will run cod2 reasonabley.

Yea, agreed thats all you need. 6600gt or gs. Good cards, and you cant play in DX9 online with better cards anyway. ---> Keep it real! use DX7!

Get X800XL AGP, it would push the 6600 under the sand plus better image quality.

I am not shure if he can afford for x800xl...

I think that the best GPU for agp is 6600gt or 6800gs (and unlock to 16/6) :)
The only thing is money ;)

FYI my old rig ran CoD2 very well.

I had:

AMD AthlonXP 2800+
1GB XMS
ATi 9600xt It was about $179 when i got it about a year and a half ago. I imagine it is pretty cheap now.

Call of Duty United Offensive Owns! I like that more than COD2 sorry =[

Anyways the 6600GT or even a ATI x700 will play COD2 smoothly.

I used to have COD2 running on my 9200SE farely well but i upgraded to a 6600GT and it runs great! :)
