Audiovox CDM 9900

I talked to a Verizon rep today, and he told me that the next new
Verizon phone was going to be the Audiovox CDM 9900 (he said that it
should be released be the end of the month). Has anyone else heard
this??? Any opinions about this phone???

I have the Toshiba VM4050 thru Sprint, which I believe is the same or close
to this model. The most notable plus about it is the spectacular screen.
It's large for a standard clamshell phone and its color/resolution looks
better than anything else I've seen. I looked at other phones that were
probably better constructed, but since I use the phone for email and light
web use, I was willing to overlook those minor problems. After 2 weeks of
use, I'm happy with it.
