the wizard man just died out of his manor. I got a journal entry saying i should look in his house What do i do and where do i go. I searched his whole house and only found a lousy bow. I know you have to unclock the chest and there is a secet room but what do i do there is nothing important in the room.

Go down to the basement where the bows and arrows are, look at the two rugs - one is a dusty rug. Activate it by clicking on it, and it will reveal a hidde trapdoor.
