Harder Multiplayer Setting "-Player something"

Hello.

With a friend we are going to try some diablo2 for the "good old times".

However the basic level of difficulties (even at max) are too low.
I remember that there was an option that increased radically the
difficulty level by simulating a specific number of players.

Something like a "-Players 8" at the end of a shorcut.

Does anyone remember what the exact command is.
And know if it works with the latest diablo version ?
