HELP Please!!!

I went away for the weekend and when I came back, I turned on my computer and i got an error 1720--Hard drive detects immenent failure. And when I finally got it to boot up, The system ran really slowly, often stopping completly for a couple seconds. I ran every test i know of and I couldnt figure it out. I hope there is some way to fix this problem without buying a new HD or computer. Yhe device manager indicates that it is running in compatibility mode.

It sounds like it's time for a new HDD. Get Norton Ghost and do a disk to disk copy with your new HDD. It's pretty painless.

I can't think of a good signature so I'll use this one.
